Interim Government: Presidential Transition Council Will Not Be Deterred By Plot-Habiba Lawal

Dr. Habiba Lawal, the Secretary of the Presidential Transitional Council (PTC), has stated that it will not be deterred by the claim by the Department of State Service (DSS) that some key players are plotting to impose an interim government.
Dr. Lawal, a former Permanent Secretary of the Ecological Project Office (EPO), made the statement during an interview on Arise News.
According to her, the council will continue its work of planning the process of the inauguration of the president-elect, while it expects the DSS to also play its part in ensuring that the security of the country is maintained.
Recall that the DSS had earlier today Wednesday, March 29 confirmed a plot by some key persons to impose an interim government in a bid to ensure that the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not inaugurated as president on May 29.
