Notorious Terrorist Leader Displays Wads Of Scarce New Naira Notes
One of Nigeria’s most notorious terrorist leaders, Kachalla Baleri, has been filmed in a viral video displaying wads of new Naira notes.
Balerie was spotted in a video shared via an unverified handle @Edrees4P on Wednesday, February 1.
In the video, the terrorist, who spoke in Hausa language, claimed that he had up to N10 million of the new naira notes to buy more weapons.
Punch reports that some defence blogs said the new naira notes in Baleri’s possession were ransom he allegedly received from relatives of abductees.
The military also placed a N5 million bounty on each of them.
The wanted persons have been terrorising Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara States.
