Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in 2023 election.
In a tweet he shared, Omokri who has been campaigning for Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said the ruling party fell into their trap and picked Tinubu.
According to him, Tinubu won’t get Northern votes with a Northern Christian and won’t also survive a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
“Now that the APC fell into our trap and picked Tinubu, we are overjoyed. Tinubu is a flawed candidate. But that is not even the challenge. Who will be his vice? A Northern Christian won’t get Northern votes. And he can’t survive a Muslim-Muslim ticket!”
