Resign From PDP, Deji Adeyanju Tells Banky W

Activist, Deji Adeyanju, has told Nigerian singer Banky W to resign from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adeyanju also told the singer to move to another party where he can contest the 2023 general election.
The activist suggested that the highly successful singer joins NNPP, Labour Party or SDP, tagging PDP as a dollar party that cannot change, as all they care about is money.
This comes in the wake of the controversy trailing the Lagos PDP over Banky W’s qualification to represent the party in the 2023 House of Representatives election.
In a video shared online on Monday, May 23, Banky W was seen being celebrated as the winner of the primary, however, a final list released by the party showed that the singer would not represent the party in the election proper, as he was not the winner of the Eti-Osa constituency.
The submitted result showed that the singer polled 7 votes and was defeated by Aiboni Sam who polled 23 votes.
