Modupe Alakija Keeps Mum Over Ikoyi Club Suspension
The saying that success has many fathers and failure is an orphan is a popular one.
It is one which even Modupe Alakija, the husband of Folorunsho Alakija and Chairman of Famfa Oil Limited, an indigenous oil firm based in Lagos State is aware of.
Days back, the tale of how Alakija was suspended from Ikoyi Club for allegedly fighting another member of the club was all over town with many expecting a reaction from him either to refute the allegation or set the record straight.
According to the viral report, Alakija reportedly beat up a fellow member of the reputable club for being rude to him.
Days after the whole drama, Alakija is yet to react to the development with none of his cronies bordering to defend his interest, even as more and more allegations continue to surface.
