Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC) has hinted that he is likely to contest for President in 2023.
Pastor Bakare stated this while speaking during an interview with Channels Television.
Answering questions, Bakare said that he is free to contest anything.
The clergy who acknowledged that President Muhammadu Buhari is overwhelmed with the challenges in the country also stated that his present interest is not contesting for any post, as there will be no nation to run for if the problems of the country are not resolved.
While respecting the interest of other people, Pastor Bakare said soon there will be nothing to run for except to run out of the country.
Described as being one of the most politically influential pastors in Nigeria, Pastor Bakare was the running mate of the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 Nigerian presidential election.
