“Never speak from a place of hate, jealousy, anger, or insecurity. Evaluate your words before you let them leave your lips. Sometimes it’s best to be quiet”

If only Hon. Mojisola Alli-Macaulay, the lawmaker representing Amuwo constituency 1 in the Lagos House of Assembly (LAHA), knew the above quote by Tony A. Gaskins Jnr., she might have escaped the murky waters she is currently swimming in.

Hers was an almost perfect political career, but it is now riddled with controversy.

Currently in a crisis for saying that ‘most Nigerian youths are high on drugs’, the statement has become her undoing.

With an ongoing door-to-door campaign to gather enough signatures for her recall, the fate of the woman in LAHA is unknown.

As if that is not bad enough, she has also been accused of misrepresentation by Amuwo Odofin Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum.
