Why Majek Fashek Will Not Be Buried In Nigeria-Son

The hope of the remains of Majek Fashek being buried in Nigeria has ended.
Majek Fashek who died on June 1, was supposed to be buried in America, however, friends and associates insisted that his remains be brought home, adding that he should not be buried like a nobody.
Thus, a fundraising was started to the effect. However, it appears that it has all failed.
The musician will now be buried in New York, United States where he died.
Randy Jackson, Majek Fashek’s first child with his ex-wife, Rita made the announcement in a video shared on Monday, August 10.
He thanked the musician’s fans and well-wishers for their love and support, and further revealed that they were forced to take the decision of burying the late reggae icon in New York due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Majek Fashek died of the age of 57 while battling esophageal cancer.
