Police Clears D’banj Of Rape Allegation
The Nigeria Police has cleared D’banj of a rape allegation brought against him by a lady identified as Seyitan Babatayo.
D’banj was cleared of the allegation following a detailed investigation ordered by the Inspector General of police, Mohammed Adamu.
Recall that the musician had been alleged of the crime which reportedly took place in 2018.
According to Babatayo, the musician gained access to her hotel room using a spare key he got from the hotel manager and subsequently raped her.
However, D’banj has maintained his innocence all through until his vindication.
Meanwhile, the claimant has reportedly withdrawn her petition to the police.
