Innocent Until Proven Guilty: Dbanj Reacts To Social Media Backlash

Singer, D’banj, has trashed allegations of his being a rapist.
In the past week, the musician has been trailed by an allegation of rape from a lady identified as Seyitan Babatayo.
Babatayo accused D’banj of raping her in 2018, an allegation which he has denied.
Following an order by D’banj to arrest his accuser, there have been negative reactions from Nigerians and celebrities who insist that he was trying to intimidate the lady.
Reacting to the backlash from social media, Dbanj shared a video on Instagram of him dancing to his hit song ‘Olorun Maje’ which translated to English means ‘God forbid’.
D’banj captioned the video: ”Innocent until proven guilty…., STOP SOCIAL MEDIA TRIAL #SAY NO TO RAPE AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION”
