Three Sisters Drown In Ebonyi River
Three sisters were found drowned in a tragic incident that occurred on Saturday, April 25.
According to a report, the sisters between the ages of 14 and 20 drowned in a river at Amaeze village in Ishiagu community of Ebonyi State.
All students of Comprehensive Secondary School in Ishiagu, they were found floating on the river with no explanation to the cause of their death.
The siblings have reportedly been buried beside the stream without caskets, as culture and tradition demand.
Confirming the incident, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ivo Divisional Police Post, Mr. Nwornu Daniel said it was a case of sudden and unnatural death.
