Blame Vandals For Abule Egba Pipeline Explosion-Eye Witness
An eye witness of the Ile Epo, Abule Egba, Lagos State pipeline explosion has attributed the accident to the handiwork of vandals.
Residents of the Abule Egba were shocked to be greeted by explosion on the night of Sunday, January 19, following explosion from a belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Ibrahim Farinloye, the acting coordinator of Lagos territorial office of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), revealed that two corpse had been recovered, while several articulated vehicles were destroyed.
“I am there. Several entry points to the scene, I have counted about 8 vehicles affected. It can be more than that,” he said.
