The 13th Headies Holds Today
Some of the finest artistes in the Nigerian music industry will be honoured today, as the 13th Headies Awards holds.
Holding at Eko Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, it will be a gathering of stars.
Guests and music lovers will seek to know who walks home with what award, as another set of controversy erupts over who deserves to win prime categories such as the ‘Rookie of the Year’, ‘Next Rated’ and ‘Artiste of the Year’.
Adekunle Gold will battle it out with Patoranking, Brymo, Teni and Burna Boy for the ‘Best Recording Of The Year’ category, while Burna Boy, Victor AD, Starboy ft Duncan Mighty, Wizkid, Fireboy DML and Joeboy will compete for the ‘Best Pop Single’ category.
Rema, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, Victor AD, Lyta, and Zlatan will contest for ‘The Next Rated’ category.
The ‘Rookie Of The Year’ category will see a battle between Crayon, Buju, Barry Jhay and Oxlade.
