Kogi Deputy Governor Remains Impeached-House Majority Leader, Hassan Abdulahi

The Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hassan Bello Abdulahi, has stated that the state’s Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba remains impeached.
Abdullahi stated this while speaking with journalists on Friday, after Achuba’s impeachment.
Achuba was impeached by the state house of assembly following the submission of a report by a committee set up in August by the state Chief Judge, Justice Nadir Ajana, to investigate an allegation of gross misconduct brought against him.
Achuba had accused Governor Yahaya Bello of withholding his salaries and allowances running into N800m since 2017.
He had also alleged that the state governor was also after his life, adding that he sent gunmen to kill him.
According to the House of Assembly, the claims, allegations, actions, and utterances of the deputy governor amounted to gross misconduct
