Bobrisky: Wike Confirms Arrest Of Notorious Cultist
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has confirmed the arrest of the cultist popular as, Bobrisky of Gokana.
The arrest comes less than 24 hours after a N30million bounty was placed on the latter.
Confirming the arrest on Friday, August 9, Wike said that he will redeem his pledge of monetary reward for the capture.
Speaking during a security meeting with leaders of Rumuolumeni Community at the Government House Port Harcourt, Governor Wike thanked the Nigerian Army for capturing the suspected cultist.
“The army has captured Bobrisky of Gokana. I will pay the bounty that I promised to the Nigerian Army.
“Anyone who generates insecurity in Rivers State, I am ready to pay any amount to ensure the arrest of that person,” he said.
The arrest of Bobrisky of Gokana comes after the Rivers State government proscribed all youth groups for being hijacked by cultists.
