Prince Ajibade Ogunoye’s Hurdle
Death is a sad occurrence, but it has a way of opening doors for people.
For Prince Ajibade Ogunoye, the death of Olateru-Olagbegi opened a big door. The death saw to his emergence as the new Olowo of Owo Kingdom.
Against all expectations, Prince Ogunoye’s emergence was peaceful, democratic and procedural.
Despite this, he still has the big challenge of unifying other contenders of the throne, as well as uniting all sons and daughters of Owo Kingdom.
Though yet to officially ascend the throne of his forefathers, Owo Kingdom awaits the traditional rites that will fully usher in their new leader.
