Man Set Ablaze By Hoodlums In Ajah Dies

A man who was set ablaze by hoodlums in Ilaje area of Ajah in Lagos State has died.
According to report, the man died from the burns he suffered from the attack.
Trouble started when hoodlums stormed the area in the early hours of Thursday, June 20, and attacked some settlers over an existing battle for a piece of land.
The crisis soon degenerated into something else with gunshots reportedly fired by both parties, leading to a resident being set ablaze.
When our reporter visited the scene of the fracas, police patrol vans with heavily armed policemen had taken over the area.
Commuters and sellers went on their normal business as if nothing had taken place in the area.
Speaking with www.theoctopusews.com, Akeem an NURTW staff revealed that the whole fight took place early in the morning, as normalcy had been restored.
