Lockdown: Davido Shutdown Mayotte

Who says music is not a universal language? Davido has proven that it is.
The lead artiste of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), shutdown the French colony of Mayotte when he performed in a sold out concert.
A French colony close to northern Madagascar, the artistes defied all odds, as he dished out fis music to a sold out hall despite language barriers.
The artiste who took to stage on Saturday, October, 27, shared his experience about Mayotte on Instagram.
According to him, after being booked to perform in Mayotte, the language was a big issue for himself and his crew who couldn’t communicate with the people of the region and that made ordering for their food and possibly other activities difficult.
Davido stated that despite the language barrier, music brought them all together as they all found themselves vibing to his songs when he started performing on stage.
He said;
Thank you Mayotte
