About Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s Humility
Very few monarchs are known for their humility.
More often than not, they are known to be verbose and driven by the power they wield.
After all they are the closest to the gods, and who dare question them?
This was the attitude with which the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, assumed his current office.
Young, vibrant and suave, the dark-complexioned man knew the kind of power he wield. However, times are changing and he has found a new kind of humility.
In recent times, he has been faced with situations which many monarchs would have reacted brashly to, but not Ooni Ogunwusi, as he has been handling controversial issues wisely.
Only recently, a budding politician disrespected the monarch in his palace, but was save from the wrath of the guards by the monarch who pacified his boys in a way only a matured monarch do.
