Sorrow, Pain Engulfs Dapo Abiodun

The death of a child is no ordinary loss. For the parents, it is indeed a deep one. This is the state that oil tycoon Dapo Abiodun has found himself.
Abiodun sits atop several choice companies some of which are Heyden Petroleum Limited, First Power Limited, OMS-Heyden Exploration and Production Limited and Securitel Consult Limited to mention a few.
With these companies, the man had all he could dream of including posh houses and wonder on wheels. However, last week, fate dealt him a deadly blow and took away one of his sources of joy in his son, Olugbemiga Abiodun.
Olugbemiga and a friend named Chime were found dead in his car a BMW with registration number KJA 631 AY, at the underground garage of Block B, Banana Island, Estate, Lagos on Saturday October 7th.
The incident has no doubt thrown Abiodun and his family into mourning. Asides the loss of his son, there are also speculations that his loss might also affect his political ambition.
Abiodun who contested for Senate in the last election was defeated by Buruji Kashamu. Prior to the incident with his son, Abiodun, was hoping to contest for the office of the Ogun State Governor come 2019.
