What Can Lola Rae Add To DMW? Critics Ask

Critics of Lola Rae are presently asking what the singer has to offer Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), a record label she recently joined.
The singer, who is yet to prove her worth as an artiste, dropped her debut single in 2012.
Since then, the only credit she has received for her songs is for singles ‘Watch My Ting Go’ and ‘High’, both enjoying very little reviews.
This is why a lot of people following the career of DMW artistes have been asking how she made the cut to emerge the label’s First Lady.
Prior to Lola Rae’s unveiling as DMW’s First Lady, the label had four proven acts namely Dremo, Danagog, Mayorkun and Ichaba.
Lola Rae started working with Kamal Ajiboye, Davido’s manager and boss of Twenty 20 Media in 2015, and for many it took that long to convince Davido to bring her on board his label.
Since joining DMW, the artiste has dropped a single titled ‘Biko’. The song features her label boss, Davido.
