“Pray For Me” Was Inspired By P-Square-Darey Art-Alade

Singer, Darey Art-Alade has revealed that his song Pray For Me was actually inspired by a true life story.
Speaking during a chat with www.theoctopusnews.com, at a recent event, Art-Alade, revealed that the song was inspired by the true life story of twin brothers, P-Square.
In his words, “Although not directly, but Pray For Me was inspired by the true life story of P-Square. It’s a story of how they left their location, came to Lagos as nobody and became somebody,” he said.
Pray For Me would be remembered as one of Art-Alade’s most controversial song, as it has been likened and severally compared to Timi Dakolo’s song Wish Me Well.
Some people have even described it as an imitation of Dakolo’s song. However, Art-Alade has refuted such insinuations saying he is sure he recorded his song long before Dakolo did his.
