Oil magnet, Jide Omokore’s day to answer to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has come, as he was arrested today Monday, June 20.
Prior to now, there have been speculation on when Omokore would be arrested by the anti corruption body.
Omokore and his business partner Aluko had been implicated in the ongoing slush fund investigation involving former Minister of petroleum, Diezani Allison-Madueke.
According to EFCC sources, Omokore will be arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a four-count charge of money laundering and corruption today.
