Don Jazzy, D’banj renews old memories amidst speculation of reunion

The saying that nothing is impossible seems to be what is playing out currently, as the talk in the entertainment industry presently is about a reunion between D’banj and Don Jazzy.

The rumour is currently holding a lot of water especially with the way the two related when they met at D’banj‘s younger sister’s wedding to Cool FM’s Dotun which took place today, August 3, 2013, at The Grandeur Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

The top producer at Mavin Records and top recording artiste at DB Records shocked guests when they got on stage and performed some of their hit duets including ‘Mr Endowed‘, ‘Fall in love‘ and ‘Suddenly‘ for the new couple.

Although the pair have met a couple of times since parting ways, it is the first time they’re performing together.

As at yesterday, there had been speculation on the probability that Don Jazzy would attend the wedding based on the fact that he shared a close relationship with D’banj’s mother. A surprised D’banj could not help the surprise, as he grinned from ear-to-ear.

You will recall that Don Jazzy and D’banj’s relationship collapsed last year and since then Don Jazzy has moved on with label-mates and collaborators like Dr SID, D’Prince and Wande Coal before singing on Tiwa Savage, while D’banj has established his self as an international brand of sort, also flourishing with his DB Records.
