The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has declared one John Kelechi Ekuma wanted.
According to a statement posted on the anti graft agency’s website, Ekuma is wanted in an alleged case of Obtaining Money by False Pretense.
The statement posted on 7, April 2026, signed by Dele Oyewale noted thus: “The public is hereby notified that JOHN KELECHI EKUMA, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of Obtaining Money by False Pretense.”

Ekuma is described as a 43 years old, an indigene of Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, with his last known address being 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The EFCC urged anybody with useful information as to Ekuma’s whereabouts to contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices or through 08093322644; its e-mail address: info@efcc.gov.ng or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies.
