***As Class of 85 Law School Marks 40th Years of Legal Excellence


It was gathering of high and mighties celebrating excellence as Convener of Arise Women, Dr Siju Iluyomade joined her other colleagues of the Nigerian Law School Class of 1985 to mark its 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Awards Night, rejoicing in four decades of distinguished service to Nigeria’s legal system and national development.
The high-profile event which was held on 16th December 2025 in Lagos was attended by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Chief Justice of Nigeria Lateef Fagbemi SAN alongside other eminent personalities from the legal, political, academic, and corporate sectors.
Dr Siju who was praised for her numerous humanitarian and empowerment work was honored with award alongside couple of others at the event. She was awarded meritoriously in honor of her Sterling contributions in the areas of international trade, finance, corporate law, energy law and being a worthy Ambassador of the Class.

Since their call to the Bar in 1985, members of the Class of 1985 have served the nation as judges, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, public servants, academics, and professionals, contributing consistently to the strengthening of the rule of law and governance in Nigeria.
Beyond individual achievements, the celebration highlighted the enduring bond among classmates and the shared values of discipline, integrity, and service instilled at the Nigerian Law School.
The Class of 1985 was commended for commemorating the milestone with purpose and for recognising excellence among its peers, while inspiring younger generations of legal practitioners.
