The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has challenged the authority of Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Kanu, had appeared before the Federal High Court Abuja where the court is expected to deliver judgment on the terrorism charges filed against him by the Federal government.

However, shortly after the proceedings began. Kanu challenged the jurisdiction of the court to hear his case and asked the judge, Justice Omotosho, not to deliver any judgement since it lacks the jurisdiction to hear his case.

He insisted that his written address be taken by the law and not for the court to deliver any judgment. While the Justice Omotosho spoke to dismiss his objection, Kanu insisted that his objection must be taken.

At a point, the  Justice Omotosho had to leave the court for a moment before he ordered the security agents  to take Kanu out of the courtroom.

Upon his resumption, the presiding judge ordered that Kanu remain outside the courtroom while the judgment and possible sentencing continues.
