The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF),, Patrice Motsepe, has stated that the 20230 world Cup would be hosted in Africa.
Motsepe stated this while speaking at the ongoing 2025 CAF Award.
Appreciating the country of Morocco and it’s leader for the development and promotion of football in Africa, he noted that the next world cup would be coming to Africa, a statement which FIFA president, Gianni Infantino nodded to.
The next world cup slatted for 2026 would be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico and United States of America.
