Good businessmen are not known to be sentimental; they are shrewd and decisive.
Indeed, the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, is a great businessman. And it is for this reason that the opening paragraph speaks volumes.
Be that as it may, there are times when even the most famous of businessmen has to listen to words of caution.
For Elumelu, the world of caution passed down by God through Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Spiritual Leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, is for the Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) to avoid helicopters when traveling outside Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele gave the warning during the unveiling of his annual prophecy book, Warnings To The Nations 2025/2026 And Beyound Edition, on July 5, 2025, in Lagos.
In the book, Primate Ayodele specifically stated, “TONY ELUMELU — He must be careful of boarding a helicopter outside Nigeria, which can cause a disaster as revealed by the spirit of God.”
Although the cleric didn’t provide precise details, he urged Elumelu to exercise vigilance during international air travel.
Though Primate Ayodele is not on record to have warned the late Hubert Wigwe against traveling in an helicopter while outside Nigeria, the banker actually died along with his wife and son in an helicopter crash that occurred on February 9, 2024.
