Nigerian rapper, Falz is truly a bad guy.
The talented artist recently reviewed the first two years of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure in office and returned with a damning verdict.
In a recent interview with Arise TV, Falz seemed to urge Nigerians to sit tight, as he noted that the country has seen more setbacks than progress since Tinubu assumed office.
“It goes without saying, that more than anything we’ve moved backward. There is not much progress that has been recorded.”
The rapper also referenced the President’s well-known campaign slogan:
“I think I remember the campaign slogan being ‘Emilokan,’ which translates to ‘it’s my turn.’ And now it just seems like, what were you planning on doing? We are still waiting.”
Falz, who is known for his vocal stance on governance and civic issues, added thus:
“It’s remaining two more years. Maybe there is still a plan. But as it stands now, first half, we never see anything.”
The activist’s position has been described as an extremely blunt assessment of President Tinubu’s administration.
