Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems has been nominated for the 2025 BET Awards.
Tems who is signed to RCA Records is nominated in the BET HER category for the songs “Burning” and “Hold On”.
“Burning” the third single from Tem’s debut studio album, “Born in the Wild” released in 2024, was written and produced by Tems alongside popular collaborator GuiltyBeatz.
On the other hand, “Hold On”, is a song about strength, perseverance, and not giving up on oneself, even when facing challenges.
“Hon On” is described as a message of hope and resilience, encouraging listeners to “hold on” and believe in their potential to overcome obstacles and find their path.
The 2025 BET Awards slated to be held live from Los Angeles on June 9th will be hosted by superstar comedian and entertainment mogul, Kevin Hart.
