Shocker: Another Veteran Nollywood Actor Dies
The month of September does not appear to be a favourable one for the Nigeria:s big screen industry, Nollywood.
This is as another veteran actor has kicked the bucket.
Emmanuel France, a popular face in the movie industry passed a few days ago. His death was confirmed by popular filmmaker, Femi Ogedengbe via his Instagram page on Monday, September 16th, 2024.
He wrote: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: She Is My Sister, The Director and Cross My Sin R.I.P.”
Emmanuel France’s death is coming barely 48hours after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry who died on Friday, September 13th, 2024.
In 2024, Nollywood has lost popular actors including Mr Ibu, Junior Pope, Sisi Quadri, Ganiyu ‘Ogunjimi‘ Oyeyemi, Amaechi Muonagor, among many others.
