2face Idibia has become the laughing stock of the entertainment industry having embarrassed his family, friends and business associates with a very unpopular comment about men not built to be sexually satisfied by one woman.
The singer made the statement while on a podcast recently.
He said: “A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. A man can love one woman, but it’s impossible for a man to sexually be with one woman only. It’s the biology of man.”.
Since the comment, there have been several reactions with many wondering how a supposed legendary musician and ambassador would make such a statement.
Recall that the singer was only months ago named Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach by Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State.
The appointment was announced during a meeting between the Governor and the musician at the Government House in Makurdi. Thie appointment was supposed to be a way for the Benue State government to strengthen its engagement with the creative industry and improve communication at the grassroots level.
Interestingly, the singer later changed his mind and publicly apologised for his remark. According to him, his remark was “unlegendary” and ought not to have been made. He expressed regret to his fans, children, and wife Natasha for the disparaging remark.
