Top politicians in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-West have failed to pick a consensus presidential candidate after a meeting that was held on Friday, May 6.

The leaders of the party had met with some of the presidential aspirants drawn from the region who have gone ahead to pick up the presidential nomination forms of the APC but failed to achieve the set goal of the meeting.

At the meeting, the issue of a consensus candidate was bought up by one of the organisers but none of the aspirants at the meeting agreed to step down for another if the need arises.
