Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to claims made against by the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN).
Hours after her withdrawal from the presidential race, the ACPN chairman, Gani Galadinma, was quoted saying that Ezekwesili was never serious about her presidential race and that she only wanted to use them to get a position as the Minister of Finance in the incoming government.
Countering the claim, Ezekwesili, in a series of tweets, revealed that the ACPN leadership has over time shown her they have a transactional mindset, hence she took the decision to withdraw her candidacy.
