There are indications that all might not be well at reputable institution, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC.
A recent advertorial published in Thisday Newspaper of Monday, August 31, 2015 sponsored by a body which identified itself as Trusted Shareholders Association (TSA), has brought this to fore.
TSA is accusing Stanbic IBTC of several allegations among which is the fact that their book has been doctored to appear impressive, as it does not reflect the real performance of the company.
Asides this, TSA is alleging that Stanbic IBTC has severally made remittance without obtaining approval from NOTAP.
Interestingly, while Stanbic IBTC has reacted debunking TSA’s allegation, very few people who have been following the drama have been convinced with the official statement released and signed by the Company Secretary of Stanbic IBTC.
