Philanthropist, Rasak Okoya has resolved his dispute with ex-wife, Alhaja Ajoke Olubando and they are back together.
Though this might come as a surprise it is a fact. A source in the know revealed to www.theoctopusnews.com, that Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, the Chairman of Eleganza Group of companies and his former wife, Alhaja Ajoke Olubando decided to shealth their sword due to the interest of their children.
Our sources, disclosed that the couple’s children initiated the reconciliation leading to the two coming back again. Ajoke’s daughter, Abimbola is said to have played a major role in the peace negotiation.
The reconciliation was made easy when the Niger State-born businessman who Ajoke married after leaving Okoya took a second wife and the socialite parted ways with him.
Another reason why Ajoke accepted the peace talk we were informed was due to the fact that none of her children supported her decision to remarry her second husband, as they had hoped things would be resolved between her and their father.
This turned out to be a great source of concern for her, as even before she parted way with her second husband every attempt she made at making her children accept the man turned out futile.
The situation, even became worse when Ajoke’s grown up children refused to visit her in her matrimonial home whenever they came home on vacation. Our source revealed that it was at this point that she decided to come to terms with the painful reality that her children would never support her marriage.
It will be recalled that the marriage between Okoya and Ajoke crashed in 2001, when the billionaire industrialist allegedly accused Ajoke of infidelity. Then, shortly after Ajoke moved out of their then Ikoyi Crescent residence Okoya denied the paternity of their last child, Rasheed though, a DNA report from London later proved him wrong.
