Publisher of daily devotional, Our Daily Manna, (ODM), Bishop (Dr.) Chris Kwakpovwe narrowly escaped death penultimate Friday during a night vigil in his ultra–modern auditorium.

The attempt on his life happened when five gun men apparently on an assassination mission, visited the auditorium.

The men, left properties worth millions of naira destroyed at the end of the siege, as they kept asking “where is the G.O?.”

This is not the first time Dr. Chris. Will be involved in such attacks, as he has been on the receiving end of impersonators and blackmailers who take advantage of the social media to tarnish his image, haven refused to succumb to their demands.

Sources close to the man of God revealed that all the attacks on the life of the publisher is in an attempt to disrupt the ODM World Anointing Night coming up on Friday, January 31, 2014, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos from 7pm till dawn.

You may recollect that late last year, a prominent newspaper, in Nigeria reported that the publisher, Bishop Kwakpowe, was assassinated in his home by unknown gun men.

This caused panic and tears across Nigeria, especially among ardent readers of the life-changing devotional booklet, but findings later show that Dr. Chris was alive and well.

According to the publicist of ODM publisher, the public should disregard any post on the internet by a faceless group which casts aspersions on the integrity of the Bishop.

He further urged the teeming followers of the Bishop worldwide to disregard the actions of these satanic elements, adding that there’s no truth in the media publications that have been going viral stating that they are meant to create confusion and frustrate the anointing service.

Let it be on record that one “REV/PASTOR ADEDEJI and one Mr. OMOLE” asked the Bishop to pay the sum of N5M in a particular unmarked account or risk internet publications.
