Nigerians have reacted with excitement to the suspension of the Kogi State Commissioner for Water Resources, Abdulmumuni Danga.
Danga was suspended following an allegation of abduction and rape brought against him by a lady identified as Elizabeth Oyeniyi.
According to Oyeniyi, she was picked by Danga’s security personnel after she advised him to assist his sister and other family members in a FaceBook post.
Reacting to the allegation, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello had ordered an investigation into the matter before going on to suspend the Danga almost 24-hours later.
Reacting to the suspension, Nigerians commended Gov. Bello for his position on the matter, adding that he took the right decision.
