We learnt that the only set of entertainer who were not affected by the downsizing were their regional ambassadors.
Artistes such as Skales, Tekno and Nkem Owoh were also affected by the development.
MTN told them that they had no roles for them at the moment and didn’t want to renew their contracts immediately.
The reason for the decision we have been informed has to do with the prevailing economic situation and the fines of over three hundred billion Naira being paid to the Nigerian Government for defaulting to disconnect subscribers when they were supposed to.
