Mercy Ekeh appears to have a fan in Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie.
The actor and son of veteran actor Peter Edochie came to the defence of the 2019 Big Brother Naija winner when she was recently tagged ‘Local’.
While reacting to the reality show star being tagged local, the actor said: ” White people messed up our brains making us see our own ways as local. C. Ronaldo speaks English with a Portuguese accent, have you called him local? Many brains need to be formatted in this country. We no be Oyibo. Mercy Eke is not local, she is simply Nigerian or Biafran.”
Recall that Mercy had been called local by a vlogger named Oluwa-Tosin Silverdam.
The vlogger had described Mercy as an “Mgbeke feeling funky” in a video where he mentioned five BBNaija stars he doesn’t like.
