Legendary highlife singer, Victor Olaiya is bereaved
The dream of every parent is for their children to bury them and not the other way round.
However, for legendary high-life musician, Dr Victor Olaiya, aged 84, he would have to bury his 38 year old son, Alfred Abidemi Olaiya, on Friday, May 8.
Pa Olaiya, lost his sons on Monday, May 4th. No cause of death has been declared by the family of the deceased.
Alfred was the younger brother of popular Yoruba actress, Mojisola Olaiya who broke the news of his passing on her instagram page.
Mojo Olaiya’s short tribute to her brother follows below:
‘Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I will miss you until we meet again. I will miss you dear brother Abide mi Olaiya R.I.P.’ she wrote
