The identity of the young man involved in the organ harvesting allegation involving Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice has been revealed.
He is David Ukpo Nwamini, a 15-year-old with a 21-year-old Nigerian international passport.
Recall that The Octopus News had earlier reported a story of how the former deputy Senate President and his wife were arrested in the United Kingdom after taking a boy there to donate a kidney to their sick daughter.
Following their arrest, the duo were arraigned in a UK court over allegations of human trafficking/organ harvesting, after the 15-years-old donor was questioned by a doctor at the hospital where the transplant was scheduled to hold.
A data page of Nwamini’s international passport which surfaced online had its date of issuance as November 4, 2021, while his date of birth is October 12, 2000. It was also noted that under British law, being above 18 is not enough. The question of consent is another burden the Ekweremadus will have to discharge.
