The memory of how Lagos State was shut down for days when the former Iya Oloja General, Abibatu Mogaji, died at the age of 96 still reverberate in the minds of a lot of people.

Then, markets in the state were closed before a mother of all party was held in her honour at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.

One year after, Bola Tinubu and his well-wishers all gathered again inside the TBS, Onikan, Lagos on Sunday, June 15, as they celebrated the first anniversary of the deceased who passed on June 15, 2013, and was buried at the Vaults and Garden, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Prior to the Brown and orange affair shindig which climaxed the celebration at TBS, Onikan, Lagos, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo had been celebrating on the pages of newspapers and on television.
Those close to the lady said that she shared a close relationship with Mogaji, hence her extended celebration.

While alive, Iya Oloja as she was fondly called was honoured with various titles, such as Yeye Oba of Lagos, Iya Adinni of Yaya Abatan Central Mosque, Ogba-Agege, Yeye Oba of Ikirun Land, Yeye Oba of Kweme Kingdom, Badagry, Yeye
Oba of Osolu Kingdom and several others.
