Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji Edet, a member of the Lagos House of
Assembly (LAHA), representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II, celebrated her 40th birthday on Sunday, September 22.
Though her birth date is August 15, the event was shifted for convenience sake. The party, which was stalled by rain, eventually kicked off later in the evening, as guests defied the bad weather to attend.
The shindig, which took place at Blue Roof, Lagos Television, Ikeja, Lagos
State, had notable dignitaries in attendance.
The pink and white affair, which also doubled as the launch of her book titled “Casting Stones,” had the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), Adeyemi Ikuforiji; member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Adijat Adeleye, Modupe Oguntuase and Princess Modupe
Adelabu, as guests.
Others include Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who was
represented by his Commissioner for Culture and Civil Service, Adeleke
Ipaye, Senator Remi Tinubu, Abiola Yesufu, Cardinal James Odunbaku,
Iyabo Obasa, Folashade Abisoye, Lai Mohammed and musician, K1 D
Ultimate.
