X3M Music

The music industry in Nigeria is presently dominated by female artistes.

Aside X3M’s Simi, Niniola and Tiwa Savage, there is hardly any other artiste to listen to these days. The three artistes also have the bestselling albums at the moment.

Clubs and parties have also confirmed this position, as the fun is not complete without a song from Niniola, Simi and Tiwa Savage’s latest effort namely ‘This Is Me’, ‘Simisola’ and ‘Sugarcane’, respectfully.

With songs like ‘All Over’ and ‘Malo’ featuring Wizkid and Spellz, Tiwa Savage took over the music scene. While her reign continued, Simi announced her presence with songs like ‘Aimasiko’, ‘Joromi’, ‘Smile For Me’, ‘Take Me Back’ and ‘Owanbe’ from her album Simisola.

Although the aforementioned artistes are still enjoying positive reviews, there is no disputing the fact that Niniola’s ‘This Is Me’, is a hot item presently with songs such as ‘Sicker’ and ‘Maradona’ on rotation by most DJs.
