The man, allegedly slumped and died during a meeting with members of Ekiti State’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which took place in his Lagos home.

However, as a sober mood envelopes the state one question begging for answer is what could have led to the man slumping and passing away despite the resource at his disposal to take care of himself medically, especially having been a Governor for one term and a Minister.

www.theoctopusnews.com, was informed by those who should know that Chief Agagu who just returned to the country from United State following an operation died as a result of his alleged social excesses, with alcohol. We also learnt that while alive he enjoyed himself to the hilt, as his drinking was massive.

Another point which those close to him have speculated is that Agagu’s death was as a result of a relapse which resulted from his lack of rest after his operation.

Chief Agagu was born February 16, 1948. He was Governor of Ondo State from May 29, 2003 to February 2009, when a court voided his 2nd term election over electoral irregularities.
