Confusion is what is currently trailing the death of the Iyalode of Gbagura town, Chief (Mrs.) Aduni Bankole.

 

The step mother of former Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, passed on Saturday January 3 2015, same day her daughter, Mopelola, was wedding.

 

While there are speculations from some quarters that the woman died of diabetic disorder, others are saying a heart related condition was what led to her death.

 

Aside the diabetics and heart challenges been linked to Bankole’s death, there are also talks that she had an operation months back and died from complications arising from it.

Chief (Mrs.) Bankole who was 56 years-old when she died was a known socialite, a successful businesswoman who operated a household and kiddies’ care products store known as Sublime Group, at Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos, before relocating to Ogba Retail Market in the same state.

 

Chief (Mrs) Adunni Bankole, is blessed with four children  namely Toyin, Mopelola, Layiwola Jnr and Adesola. She is also survived by a 79-year old mother. She would have been 56years in March 2015.
