The 2023 presidential ambition of the vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has suffered a massive setback.

This follows the reactions of Nigerians to the declaration of a presidential ambition by Professor Osinbajo on Monday, April 11.

Recall that Osinbajo officially declared his presidential ambition after months of silence about the possibility of his contesting in the 2023 general election.

Osinbajo, reportedly played host to Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  where he officially informed them of his decision to run for 2023 presidency.

Osinbajo’s declaration comes after that of Yahaya Bello, Rotimi Amaechi, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the APC.

Meanwhile, following the official declaration, Nigerians have taken to various social media platforms to express their distaste for the plan of the second most important citizen of Nigeria.

Osinbajo has been criticised for his silence over the death of Nigeria in different states as the vice president of Nigeria. The Redeemed Church pastor is also accused of not reacting to the Endsars protest.
