The Nikkai ceremony between Zahra, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari and Aisha to Ahmed, sons of billionaire oil mogul, Mohammed Indimi as expected attracted familiar faces.
Zahra’s wedding has been talk of the town for a while, with speculations that it had been cancelled by the father of the bride for different reasons. One reason had it that President Buhari called off the wedding plans after the initial introduction rites after the groom’s younger sister engaged in altercation with security personnel when they told her, like every other guests, to drop her phone at the reception before entering the villa. Another reason also had it that the president had cancelled the ceremony due to the noise and opulence associated with the nuptial setting in at a point.
With the nuptial, the new couple begins a new life. The groom is the Head of Crude Oil Marketing in one of his father’s companies, Oriental Energy Resource.
